The Opportunity

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide your insights and ideas to senior leaders across the organization.

  • Optimize our HR systems to enable an effective user experience for employees across the organization.

  • Partner with HR team members, third party software providers, and Technology & Enterprise Services team members to define, design, configure and support payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, career development, compensation, performance, and learning systems and tools.

  • As a direct report to the Director of Process Excellence and Enterprise Solutions, you will be able to assist in driving and building our technology goals and processes.

Key activities include:

  • Combine HR business acumen with technical skills working closely with HR to architect high quality HR driven solutions to complex problems.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendor support services and the business for ticketing management
  • Design solutions that are extensible, reusable, secure, reliable, cost-optimized, operationally excellent, and performant.
  • Develop and maintain the multi-year HR technology roadmap and strategy in collaboration with HR business stakeholders.
  • Engage, collaborate, and partner with various stakeholders.
  • Provide technology mentorship and insight to business & technology leaders.
  • Ensure architecture alignment across domains and functions.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies and innovations.
  • Lead and coordinate technical reviews.
  • Influence business strategy and decision-making.
  • Provide expert technical advice and support to the delivery team.
  • Develop solution options, recommendations, and designs based on domain roadmaps/requirements.

Qualifications

To meet the basic qualifications for employment, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Qualifications for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in HR Systems, HR, Payroll, or IT required
  • Experience architecting/designing Enterprise system implementations
  • Experience in overall architecture of software systems providing architectural direction for medium to large sized projects
  • Experience with cloud-based human capital management (HCM) platforms. Dayforce and/or SuccessFactors experience is highly valuable.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of business process and system architecture across the "Hire to Retire" value stream and their dependencies and impacts across the enterprise technology ecosystem.
  • Experience designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture
  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at the most senior organizational levels.
  • Ability to understand the customer's business problem, need, or opportunity and to design a solution that completely and correctly addresses the need.
