We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Clerk like you to join our Lubbock Heart team.

What You Will do in this Role:

  • Assist with receiving of all incoming supplies for the hospital
  • Sign the bill of lading for all supplies received.
  • Assist with checking in of all equipment.
  • Assist with entering all receiving into the HMS system.
  • Assist with the shipping out of all repairs.
  • Assist with inventorying par areas and delivering of supplies to floors.
  • Ensure timely response to departmental periodic supply request.
  • Comply with policy and procedure for storeroom requirements including fire code requirements, cleaning of the storeroom.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years' experience in Material Management in a hospital.
  • Able to lift 30 - 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques several times during shift.
  • Job requires physical ability for long-term standing, occasional sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching with reaching above head and below waist.
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English. Have cognitive skills for math, reading, filing, decision making and excellent communication skills.

Your Shift: Full Time

Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital specializes in the care of cardiac, orthopedic, nephrology, urology, and general medical patients. We are also a highly active inpatient center mainly centered on surgical procedures that include cardiothoracic, orthopedic, urology, and general surgery. We have a 24-hour Emergency Department with 5 fully equipped ED rooms, 4 fully operating OR rooms, 4 cardiac catherization labs with 1 electrophysiology room, 11-day surgery rooms, 58 acute care beds spread over three units, and 16 cardiac critical care rooms. We pride ourselves on giving the best overall care possible to our patients and on our family style atmosphere that includes everyone: patients and their families, physicians, and our employees.
