Job Description

The Decision Support team within Bristow is responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Analytics and supporting Strategic Planning and Decision Making. The Financial Analyst - Decision Support Corporate provides analysis and reporting to the Corporate management team and supports the overall Decision Support function within the Company. This positon provides monthly analysis and tracking of Corporate objectives, including weekly flight hour and monthly KPI reporting. Financial Analyst - Decision Support Corporate will also perform ad hoc analysis to support the Corporate management team. Key clients include Finance, Treasury, Legal, Operations, Safety, HR and Business Development.

The position reports directly to the Manager, Decision Support Financial Planning and Analysis.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts for the Corporate cost centers

  • Support the Americas team in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

  • Prepare the weekly flight hour report and assist with fleet reporting

  • Preparation of the monthly KPI report

  • Provide analysis of monthly operating results for the Corporate cost centers with variance explanations and other data in accordance with guidelines provided by the Manager, Decision Support Financial Planning and Analysis in order to facilitate consolidated management reporting

  • Develop relationships with the Corporate management team to become a trusted business partner for those functions.

  • Work with other members of the Decision Support team on ad hoc projects and analysis that may be requested from time-to-time by the CFO or the Decision Support Director.

  • Support the continuous development of OneStream as a planning and forecasting tool

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet and cash flow projections

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience of working in an Accounting, Finance or Planning related field, with knowledge of key financial statements
  • Experienced candidate capable of working across various business lines and developing effective partnering relationships
  • Self-driven with the ability to work effectively on their own or as part of a team collaboration

SKILLS:

  • Excellent Presentation Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT; experience with SAP or OneStream reporting helpful

  • Detail conscious

  • Results orientated and continuous improvement mindset

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels including with leadership and management

  • Highly organized with the ability to organize own workload

  • Highly-motivated with the skills and temperament to function effectively and efficiently in a Corporate environment

  • Exhibit a high level of integrity and confidentiality

  • Ability to keep a level head when working under pressure

  • Ability to work creatively and apply defined systems of work
