As the GlobalDirector of Regulatory Affairs & Strategic Planningfor Net Zero Transition, you will be part of a dynamic and diverse team that is responsible for developing and implementing the global decarbonization plan to achieve the company's target (currently 42% by 2030; net zero by 2050). You will lead the regulatory and strategic planning functions of the Net Zero Transition Strategy team, working across functions and business units, as well as with external stakeholders such as industry peers, NGOs and government agencies. You will also coordinate the evaluation and prioritization of value creation opportunities for low carbon products and emission reduction projects and represent the company in various industry forums and initiatives.

This position will report directly to the SVP, Net Zero Transition Strategy and will work a hybrid schedule based out of Houston, Texas or Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Accountable to lead the global Regulatory and Strategic Planning functions of the Net Zero Transition Strategy team, all in support of the global decarbonization plan to achieve the company's target (currently 42% by 2030; net zero by 2050), which will require working internally across functions and business units, and externally with industry peers, NGO's and government agencies
  • Coordinates regulatory activities for NetZero team globally in partnership with Sustainability and Government Relations functions * Supports evaluation of value creation opportunities (commercial value, subsidies, business development opportunities, etc.) for low carbon products, and the overall Net Zero journey, with a focus on evaluation of the business justifications for GHG emission reduction projects and other initiatives
  • Leads documentation and analysis of business cases (working with commercial groups) and utilizes this information to inform the prioritization process for Net Zero projects and initiatives that will enable the organization to achieve its global targets
  • Focal point for coordination with Subsidies group in Global Projects, Government Relations, and Commercial Functions * Industry representative for NetZero (committees/sub-committee, conference panels, board roles)
  • Outreach leader for government offices (DoE), national labs, EU Innovation
  • Coordinate overall Net Zero Leadership Team priorities, strategic (Board and EC level) presentations, etc.
  • Drive GoalZERO HSE performance and behaviors through active engagement and employee involvement aligned with corporate standards and expectations
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Senior leader with 15+ years of professional experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Capital Projects, Regulatory Affairs or Manufacturing or related function with at least 10+years of progressively increased leadership responsibility.
  • Bachelor's or postgraduatedegreein Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Senior leader with 20+ years of professional experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Capital Projects, Regulatory Affairs or Manufacturing or related function with at least 10+years of progressively increased leadership responsibility.
  • Preferred: MBA or Master's degree in Science or Engineering.
