What you'll achieve
As a Senior Data Engineer on a growing team, you will bring in your industry experience to develop and maintain productionized data pipelines that support the training and productionization of machine-learning models. This position is focused on our U.S. Federal Marketing segment and will play a critical role in growing and maturing our marketing capabilities with machine learning at its core.

You will:

  • You will support the implementation of a nascent tech stack that supports U.S. Federal Marketing Data Science, including requirements gathering and solution testing
  • You will collaborate with our core IT teams to support the development and productionization data pipelines
  • You will evaluate and implement industry-standard data-engineering best practices

Essential Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required and you must be located in the U.S.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of related professional data-engineering experience in enterprise-level environments and 3+ years' experience supporting the end-to-end development and deployment of scalable data pipelines, including monitoring and production support
  • 3+ years' experience with data warehouses, relational databases, JSON, Apache Hive, Spark or Hadoop, or related technologies with proficiency in performant Python and SQL

Desired Requirements

  • Experience with the U.S. Federal industry
  • Experience with the Cloudera platform and Docker containers
