Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Candidate will provide information/network system assurance support for the Central Technical Support Facility at Ft. Hood, TX. The candidate will monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users. Identify potential threats and respond to reported security violations. Determine causes of security breaches and research, recommend, and implement changes to procedures to protect data from future violations. Conducts Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliancy testing and analysis for Army C4I information systems and System-of-Systems (SoS) networked architectures for the Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) testing events. Assist in educating users on security procedures.

Requirements:

  • A current Security+, CISSP, CISM or GSLC certification
  • Working knowledge of DIACAP, FISMA and DIACAP Certification and Accreditation process
  • Proficient in the generation and review of C&A Packages
  • Knowledge with the following tools:
    • E-Eye Retina
    • DISA Gold Disks for Windows
    • DISA Unix SRR scripts
    • DISA WebServer SRR scripts
    • DISA Oracle SRR scripts
    • Nessus Security Scanner
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance
  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field and five to seven years of relevant work experience are required.

To be successful in this position you must be a strong team player, with ability to work unsupervised and possess excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate must have exceptional phone/communication skills with the ability to relay technical information to users in easy to understand terms.

Applicant selected must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information and will be subject to a government security investigation; US citizenship is a must. EEO M/F/D/V
