We are currently seeking a talented
Real Estate (1st Mortgage) Bank Originations Specialist for our
San Antonio, TX facility.
As a
Real Estate (1st Mortgage) Bank Originations Specialist for USAA's lending division (mortgages), you will provide outstanding customer service in an inbound/outbound environment, while ensuring that every member feels valued. You will provide individual counseling to our members on the various features and benefits of our primary banking package. You will also work with members to determine their individual needs and then suggest the most appropriate product(s) and/or service offerings. Additional responsibilities will include originating, approving and fulfilling products in compliance with all Bank and regulatory requirements.
*Ability to work any day Monday-Friday from 9:30-8:00pm and a definite Saturday between 8:30-5:00 pm for a full time, 4 day, 38-hour workweek. 38 Hour 4 day work schedule: Three 10-hour days + 8 hours Saturdays. Not eligible for USAA designated holiday pay. Adjusted PTO accrual rate ). 30% Shift Premium pay (work scheduled: after 6pm, M-F & Saturdays).
Ability to attend up to 8 weeks of paid structured classroom training: Monday - Friday 8:00am -4:30pm.*
Qualified candidates need to possess:
- High school diploma or (equivalent work experience).
- 2 years of relevant customer contact experience OR successful completion of military service.
Preferred:
- 1+ years of financial services industry related customer contact experience.
- Knowledge of windows operating environment and Microsoft Office tools.
- Call center experience.
- Recent USAA Mortgage experience to include originations and/or processing.
