Position Description

Sr. Associate – Operations Analysis and Capacity Planning

The Sr. Associate will be a critical member of the Default Mortgage Business. He she will be responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities to improve operational performance and provide capacity planning to support the business. He/She will analyze historical and forecasting results to identify trends and make business recommendations. Under direct supervision of business leader, this individual will manage the full project cycle, including idea generation, cost analysis, consensus building and implementation for the purposes of detailed optimization, cost reduction, improved customer experience and operational excellence specific to the Default Mortgage Business. This individual will leverages internal and external resources to increase the impact and breadth of work through incentives and take a leading role in the identification, design, development, and implementation of tests and monitors throughout execution.

Responsibilities:
? Conduct data and operational cost analyses
? Deliver on capacity modeling and planning
? Consult to the Default Leadership Team to identify opportunities to enhance revenue and reduce costs and operational complexity
? Build business cases, present ideas and recommendations and provide metrics and forecasting reports

Basic Qualifications:
? Bachelors Degree in Quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or accounting
? 2 Years experience in Business Analysis / Operations Analysis / Financial Analysis and Reporting
? 2 Years experience in MS Office (focus on advanced Excel)
? 1 Year experience in Meeting facilitation and presentation delivery

Preferred Qualifications:
? Masters Degree in Management or Business
? 5 Years experience in MS Office (focus on advanced Excel)
? 5 Years experience in Report writing (Hyperion, Brio)
? 3 Years experience in Mortgage Servicing
? 3 Year experience in financial reporting and trends Analysis
? 2 Years experience in Working with databases and manipulating data
? 2 Years experience in Meeting facilitation and presentation delivery
