We are in search of a team-oriented insurance professional to ensure case accuracy and completion in our Plano, TX office. As the Pre-service Coverage Determination Coordinator, you would compare patient benefits with their current level of care and prepare the case file for the next business unit. This is a fast-paced role that offers a great team, as well as opportunities for advancement.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Working with in/outpatient procedure cases
  • Checking cases for accuracy and completion
  • Transferring each case to the next business unit
  • Performing coverage determination

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in healthcare, highly preferred is experience in managed care organization either through a carrier or provider
  • 2 years of working with customers via the phone- must be outgoing, and have great personality skills
  • 2 years of experience with basic knowledge of work and excel- this position requires you to be on a computer most of the day
  • HS diploma is required however any advanced education is a preference
  • Current schedule is M-F 8-5:30 but some flexibility would be necessary as business needs change
  • Currently this position is not a telecommuter role and would required daily attendance in an office environment
