The American Heart Association is seeking a high energy, achievement driven individual to help manage our Dallas area Heart Walk.

This is a senior-level position and requires someone who has experience with large fundraising goals and large events. If you have a strong fundraising or sales background where you traveled in an assigned territory OR if you have an event coordination background coupled with sales or fundraising we want to hear from you!

Your daily activities will include securing and growing major sponsorships, managing, motivating, and training high-level volunteers, orienting team captains and top walkers, planning and executing several large events, collaborating with AHA staff, and managing the Dallas Heart Walk Team.


Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of fundraising or related outside sales experience (5 - 6 yrs preferred)
2 yrs managing a team of professionals, preferably in fundraising activities
Demonstrated knowledge of Dallas businesses and philanthropic communities
Skill in developing and managing budgets, creating proposals, and creating and executing event timelines
Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals, build relationships, multi-task, and work as part of a team
