Develops the provider network (physicians, hospitals, pharmacies, ancillary groups & facilities, etc.) yielding a geographically competitive, broad access, stable network that achieves objectives for unit cost performance and trend management, and produces an affordable and predictable product for customers and business partners.
Evaluates and negotiates contracts in compliance with company contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls. Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with Hospital, Physician, Pharmacy, or Ancillary providers, and ensures the network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialties.

Qualifications
  • Requiring a minimum of 3+ years experience in a Managed Care environment.
  • Physician, ancillary and/or hospital contract negotiation experience required.
  • Contracting experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 hospitals is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience working with contracts, fee schedules, claim resolution and working with reimbursement methodologies will make for ideal candidate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Prefer Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience will be considered at the discretion of the hiring manager.
  • Must have intermediate level skills utilizing MS Excel.
