| Inside Sales Manager Position Description: Objective: Build and lead a team of accomplished inside sales professionals responsible for growing our food safety specialty business with smaller chains, independent restaurants and other end users. Identify and execute strategy for consultative phone selling, bid preparation, proposal development, and support of the growth efforts of our corporate account and field sales associates. Job Responsibility:
o Jointly develop strategy with VP of Sales & Business Development to grow divisional revenue utilizing phone and web based tools.
o Secure new small chain accounts (accounts with 50 locations or less) on food safety programs.
o Develop and execute plan for contacting customers to obtain reorders and refills.
o Manage the RFP process and prepare customer quotes.
o Drive compliance for Corporate Accounts by overseeing courtesy calls to unit locations.
o Oversee outbound calls to schools, healthcare facilities, restaurants, and other foodservice businesses to inform and solicit sales that are specific to their interests.
o Provide training, coaching and supervision for inside sales teams
