A Security Software Engineer's capabilities should include at least a few of the following: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; strong grasp of operating system fundamentals, including interrupts, threading, virtual memory, device drivers and memory management techniques; knowledge and understanding of operating system internals, device drivers, integration of code with the operating system kernel, reverse engineering, and Intel x86 assembly; experienced with code and resource optimization; previous professional development experience in Windows and Linux environments. |
