The Marketing Associate is responsible for the execution of Sampling, Cross Merchandising, Direct Mail, Print Collaterals, Websites, and other promotional strategies identified that can impact the growth of the Proforce Brand and Small Business Solutions division. The associate must exhibit good business judgment, above average communication skills, leadership skills, and interpersonal relationship skills.
Main Responsibilities:
Partner with business and sales leaders to develop and implement collaterals and direct mail strategies. Develop a wide variety of printed or electronic marketing materials, external presentations and direct mail programs.
Work with key retailers and partner vendors on cross merchandising programs that effectively touch current customers that are potential Proforce customers.
Provide support to business and sales leaders in crafting written messages or presentations. Partner with niche businesses in developing their brand messages and marketing efforts in concert with larger organizational themes and branding messages.
Provide insight into promotion performance utilitzing Retail Link and data analysis to provide key information on trends, marketing ROI, and business segment intelligence.
Manage marketing expense tracking.
Basic Qualifications:
BBA in Marketing with 2 years applicable experience or MBA.
1-2 years experience creating and executing promotional marketing programs.
1-2 years brand building experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Marketing experience to Small Businesses through traditional and non-traditional channels
Strong interpersonal, leadership, & negotiation skills as well as presentation of self.
Strong written and oral communications skills
Good organization skills and practices, both personal and team oriented
Excellent planning and priority-setting abilities; deadline driven
Strong inclination for decision making with sound judgement and resourcefulness.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint as well as other pertinent software and a strong aptitude for learning.
Strong in proofreading; visual/spatial skills, experiencing working in graphics layout and graphics layout applications.
