Reporting Manager
In this position, you will play a lead role in providing support for reporting in a variety of critical order-to-cash business areas through collaboration with functional and key business resources. This role is primarily responsible for identifying efficiencies in reporting by implementing best practices and delivering effective reports across the business. This will be done by utilizing functionality available in SAP, Business Objects, SFDC, QuickArrow and other tools. The analysis and reports developed in the position will assist management in making critical and strategic business decisions. Candidate should excel in tracking and generating new ideas for business metrics and operation metrics that align with business goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organization, analysis, and problem solving skills. They must also possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as, strong interpersonal skills. They must be self-motivated, deliver on commitments within the established timelines, and proactively work to resolve issues and remove barriers in a timely manner.
Primary Responsibilities:
Understand business requirements, determine implementation strategy and translate into reports that sustain current needs and support future growth.
Work with senior leadership to support on-going financial analysis through reporting.
Analyze data needs and requirements of end users to create complex reports through tools and applications made available by the business
Serve as a reporting expert on all Business Intelligence projects
Coordinate new data development ensuring consistency and integration
Design, develop and deploy complex reports through tools available
Assist others in the department in design and development of reports.
Function as hands-on report expert and guides others in the business in defining and implementing reports
Prepare accurate, timely reports which summarize company business activity through Order To Cash activity, including business and operation metrics.
Deliver essential business information within established deadlines, ensuring ad-hoc requests and analyses are fulfilled promptly and accurately


Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), accounting or equivalent experience.
    • 8-10 years experience as a Business Analyst or supporting or equivalent position or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
    • Knowledge of business operations and processes.
  • Skilled in:
    • Business Objects universe reporting
    • SFDC reporting experience helpful
    • Creating and interpreting process maps and flowcharts.
    • Interpreting customer input, clarifying issues and developing solutions.
    • Developing requirements and system specifications documentation.
    Ability to:
    • Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives, including coordinating communication between internal clients and software developers.
    • Facilitate meetings, ensuring that all viewpoints, ideas and problems are addressed.
    • Incorporate needs, wants and goals from different business unit perspectives into project plans.
    • Attend to detail while maintaining a big picture orientation.
    • Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including communicating instructions and information clearly, concisely and accurately to all user levels.
    • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
