This position is a Quality Improvement Director responsible for the coordination and tracking of the Quality Improvement plan and projects related to assuring the Star+Plus plan is in compliance with State contract and company requirements. The QI Director supervises and directs the work of 3 staff. Duties include:- Analyzes the plan's level of compliance with Quality Improvement requirements- Makes presentations to management on QI status, projects, and outstanding quality issues- Coordinates QI activities and meetings with staff in local sites, corporate offices, and vendors' representatives- Tracks State contract changes related to QI activities, and ensures changes are implemented timely with appropriate tracking

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • RN preferable
  • Six Sigma certification prefered (green belt/black belt)
  • 2+ years experience in Quality Improvement preferably in Managed Care organization.
  • Medicaid experience preferred
  • Project management experience including development of plans
  • 2+ years management experience with professional level staff
  • Strong computer skills
  • Self initiated, ability to vision and drive to results
  • Team oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate or above Excel skills, preliminary access skills
