Position Summary

RWC is a market leader and manufacturer of water control systems and plumbing solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Established in 1949, the RWC Americas portfolio includes industry-leading brands: SharkBite Push-to-Connect plumbing solutions; HoldRite engineered plumbing and mechanical solutions; Cash Acme control valves; John Guest fittings and EZ-FLO products.

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will oversee the Supplier Relationship Management Platform (Kodiak) and provide support to the sourcing team on various initiatives including supplier negotiations, assisting with the RFP/Bidding process, performing contract and contract amendment reviews, and establishing and tracking key measures.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Manage the company Kodiak system supplier relationship management platform.
  • Provide reporting including KPIs / SLAs, cost / pricing, and compliance metrics.
  • Coordinate with Management to establish initial sourcing project strategy and execute the sourcing project strategy per assignment.
  • Responsible for ensuring that assigned sourcing project dates are being adhered to and acts as the single point of contact for new multi-vendor and single vendor procurement projects and contract requests.
  • Responsible for assigned sourcing planning and project management of supplier selection teams, which include technical, financial, and business personnel.
  • RF(x) Process - During RF(X) process Sourcing Analyst will lead and guide teams which analyze needs, prepare source lists, as well as collaborate and assist in drafting the RF(X), capture, organize, and evaluate responses, organize Q&A sessions, and lead and guide opening and closing bid communications.
  • Develop parameters and supplier negotiation plans and participate in supplier negotiations per assignment. Draft and execute the contract in collaboration with appropriate parties. Manage ongoing contract amendments and addendums, including monitoring supplier performance.
  • Responsibilities include supplier research, establishing supplier performance measurements for ongoing review, assisting the decisions for process improvement, and organizing, providing feedback to suppliers in business reviews and management in internal reviews.
  • Vendor Management post issuance of PO. The Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for tracking Business Reviews and may be asked to issue reviews to selected vendors.
  • Help drive alignment of core business initiatives and cultural policies (Modern Slavery, Environmental/Sustainability, Diversity, etc.)
  • Manage supplier performance metrics.

Essential Functions

  • Anticipated 5-10% travel required.
  • Need to safely perform all duties.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: BS degree in Finance, Business Management, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience and education
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience within procurement, sourcing, category management and / or operations management

Technical Skills

  • Highly proficient in MS suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excel expert skilled in organizing and managing data with emphasis on financial data.
  • Functional capability within finance and supply management systems (SAP, Concur)

Working Conditions

This position will be an in-office environment with occasional project-based travel required.

Job requires both sitting and standing. Excellent vision, hearing, speech, and motor skills are required to perform essential functions of the job.
