Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate Degree
- Minimum of 8 years experience with the use of 3D CAD programs to create solid models and 2D detail, assembly, and installation drawings.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in mechanical design.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years experience in mechanical design
- Experience with CREO (Pro/engineer).
- Must know mechanical design principles for aircraft structure and components.
- Must have strong analytic and communication skills; ability to coach, train, motivate, and manage technical personnel.
- Must have sound knowledge of engineering theory, design criteria, and complex activities.
- Must be able to motivate others, have sound, effective listening skills, pay attention to details, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Must be familiar with Mil-Std 100 / 1000 and MIL 31000T, ANSI Y14 drawings standards, and aerospace documentation practices.
