THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT ATTEMPT TO LIST ALL OF THE DUTIES THAT ARE OR MAY BE PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION

This position will supervise the daily activities of the Mid-Tex Data Integrity Group (DIG).

In addition to the responsibilities below, this position will act as a liaison between Business Units, Customer Contact Centers, and Revenue Management, as it relates to the maintenance of the CSS system. This position will also oversee completion of SAP technical master data maintenance duties performed by a team of direct reports, and perform related quality control audits.

Primary Duties

1) Understands and directs a range of financial activities for the team, including financial analysis, financial audits and data integrity.
2) Facilitates the prioritization of financial tasks and ensures timely task completion.
3) Provides ongoing guidance and training to the financial team, with oversight of team output.
4) Communicates with internal and external partners such as operations, engineering, corporate accounting, other divisions and governmental agencies when gathering needed financial information for the team.
5) Implements policies, procedures and standards to ensure proper and consistent administration of activities. Provides documentation as necessary. Recommends process improvements as needed.
6) Directs and conducts complex and strategic financial analyses and research in such areas as revenue and expense performance, capital spending, depreciation, net investment, peer company performance and other special projects.
7) Knows and uses advanced financial analysis concepts, practices and procedures and suggests a financial course of action when necessary.
8) Maintains adequate staffing levels to ensure proper administration of activities. Selects, develops, motivates and evaluates the performance of assigned employees.
9) Contributes to the development of an operating plan and budget for the team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Educational/Experience Level:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics and a minimum of six years experience in financial analysis with two of those years in a senior or lead financial role, or equivalent.
Communication Skills:
Requires the ability to communicate with internal and external customers in order to obtain and provide explanations or information.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Numeric Skills:
Requires the ability to perform complex analyses involving ratios, percentages and advanced statistical methods
Computer Skills:
Requires ability to utilize the Companys database systems and available resources for data entry, reference and/or retrieval tasks.
Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access and Power Point to create financial documents, reports, graphs and presentations.
Work Conditions:
Works in an office environment.
May require travel to other offices, including possible overnight travel.
Physical Demands:
Requires performing activities including, but not limited to, sitting, standing, using office equipment, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and/or lifting.
