We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Finance/RCM Intern to join our RCM Team and assist with various tasks related to RCM and Finance related projects and initiatives. The intern will play a vital role in supporting and execution of relevant RCM and Finance projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, while learning how orthotics and prosthetics plays in a major role in our patients lives.

Working alongside the RCM and Finance teams at Hanger, Inc, reporting to the Chief Revenue Cycle Officer, you are responsible for supporting a number of RCM initiatives. The RCM team oversees the administrative lifecycle of the patients after receiving a device from Hanger Clinic and works closely with the Finance and Accounting teams on appropriate recognition and resolution of insurance claims.

Note: This is an internship position with an expected duration of 3 months. Interns will receive mentoring and guidance from experience professional in the field, providing an excellent learning opportunity. The intern will work approximately 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based on availability and organizational needs.

Your Impact
    Assist in the development and delivery of key RCM reports.
  • Support administrative tasks as they relate directly to RCM execution
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather relevant content and resources for reporting needs
  • Help create and update presentation materials under the direction of RCM team leadership
  • Perform administrative tasks to support reconciliation and special project activities
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently pursing a degree in a relevant field (i.e. health administration, finance, accounting, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
