Overview

Woodland Springs is a 96-bed behavioral hospital located in Conroe, Texas. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families. At Wodland Springs we are dedicated to Changing People's Lives.

The Director of Quality, Risk Management and Compliance is responsible for development/administration of Performance Improvement, Risk Management, and Staff Development activities throughout the hospital to ensure that all state, federal, TJC standards for care consistently met. Collects and analyzes data on hospital performance, incidents, and documentation to improve hospital performance and ensure provision of quality care. Works closely with all Department Director's to recommend/provide required staff development and tailored programs based upon data analysis. Monitors, investigates, and as required, reports all hospital incidents.

Position Details

  • Monitors the hospitals quality program
  • Works with hospital employees to identify risk/safety concerns and leads the team to take correction action as needed
  • Collects incident reports; records, analyzes, investigates data and reports to Quality Council and CEO
  • Ensures hospital meets all regulatory standards and laws


Qualifications

Requirements:

Education: Master's degree in a health related field preferred, or Bachelor's degree in a health related field with equivalent in a psychiatric hospital.

Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred.

License: If applicable, unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
