Job Description

COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a QA / Lab Technician based in Dallas, TX.

This position will work the night shift from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am CST on a 2,2,3 schedule and will include working every other weekend.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • This role will be responsible for monitoring qualitative/quantitative testing of process and product attributes to ensure food safety and food quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations such as the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance. Compliance with all applicable standards such as FSSC 22000, Third party audits, Internal audits, Kosher and Organic requirements.
  • Ensure processes, work in progress, incoming goods, in-process product, finished product meets specifications. Interpretation of testing results to release of product that has met specifications. Process documentation for non-conforming product and communicate information to plant management.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science field or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly desirable.
  • Must have High School diploma at a minimum.
  • Two or more years with previous laboratory with microbiology and chemistry experience required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a food production environment.
  • Must have clear understanding of compliance to regulatory requirements related to food safety and public health.
