The US Oncology Network is looking for a Telephone Operator St. to join our team at Texas Oncology. This full-time position will support our Plano East location. Plano East is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Dual Role Telephone Operator Sr. This position will be responsible for answering incoming clinic calls for three sites, managing incoming calls on the Provider line, assisting in medical records, and assisting with patient check-in for our Surgical Specialists on specific days. This role will cover Plano East, Plano Presby and Plano Prestonwood calls. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. Hours for this position are 8:15-4:45 and located at 3709 W. 15th Street, Plano TX 75075, this position will transition into a REMOTE position within the next few months as we transition to a new phone system.

What does the Telephone Operator do? (including but not limited to)
The Telephone Operator, under limited supervision, is responsible for providing a full range of telephone switchboard duties, including triaging calls and relaying messages. Assists with clerical duties as required. Serves as a liaison between patients and medical staff. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
