Job Summary | The University of Texas at Dallas seeks a part-time Program Coordinator to oversee its IT ACCESS Program. S/he will be a vital resource for students as they transition to ECS undergraduate programs. The coordinator is responsible for acting as the IT ACCESS students' advocate and mentor as s/he assists students with the academic, financial aid, and personal challenges associated with graduate school. This position places a particular emphasis on academic planning based on a comprehensive knowledge of the university's academic programs, requirements, and support services. This position also provides excellent student service with an overall interest toward the promotion of student success, including retention and graduation, based on performance metrics (ensures resolution of student issues, quarterly communication with faculty and staff, and other timely matters) in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of the university. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
Preferred Education and Experience | Bachelor's degree; Three to five years of experience in a field relevant to the program; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills as well as organizational skills. - Ability to use multiple computer systems such as PeopleSoft, OnBase, StudentBook as well as Microsoft Office. |
