Description
Job Summary

The DOT Compliance Assistant assists the Department of Transportation (DOT) Compliance team with monitoring driver qualification files, uploading vehicle registration and annual inspection documentation to Power BI system, and forwarding any missing or expired driver qualification documentation to 3rd party agent.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monitoring driver qualification files
  • Correct and forward missing or expired driver qualification documentation to 3rd party agent
  • Upload vehicle registration and annual inspection documentation to Power BI system
  • Assist with maintaining vehicle and equipment maintenance files
  • Assist with issuing and monitoring GPS locators
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Must have knowledge of DOT driver qualification regulations
  • Must have knowledge of DOT vehicle maintenance filing requirements
  • Administrative or clerical skills preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively interact with vendors and personnel at all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively interact with vendors and personnel at all levels of the organization
  • Well organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient working in Microsoft Office 365 applications and able to quickly learn other work-related software
