We are seeking a passionate Business Transformation leader to further develop and drive Forcepoint's Finance function, playing an integral role in the business strategy, planning and execution of the company. This individual will provide critical input into the company's financial strategy, produce logical scenario analyses and insights, accurate forecasts, and make sound recommendations to support key business decisions. This ideal candidate demonstrates critical thinking skills, strong analytical experience, the ability to work cross-functionally in a self-starter, fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to break down and communicate complex information clearly and concisely. This role will report directly to the CFO to start and likely transition to the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Transformation, with regular interaction with the company senior leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive components of our financial planning and analysis deliverables to include consolidations, revenue, and expense planning. Partner with the management team, both global and corporate, to provide value-added insight into the business.
  • Prepare components of the monthly reporting package that includes full financial statements, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, operational Dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, actual versus budget variances and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences.
  • Parter with the FP&A team to deliver an efficient, effective, and comprehensive process for developing annual operating plans, strategic financial plans, annual expense management, quarterly board and investor reporting, quarterly lender reporting and monthly financial forecasting.
  • Work cross-functionally to support our month and quarter close activities, budget vs. actual analysis, ad-hoc reporting, and Board relations, etc.
  • Develop and foster strong cross-functional partnerships with focus on accounting, tax, Go-To-Market (Sales and Marketing), Customer Success and Product/Engineering operating teams.
  • Further develop/create and manage financial models and participate in making enhancements in bookings and revenue forecasting, cash forecasting (both A/R and A/P), and expense forecasting.
  • Partners with budget owners across the company to recap budget vs. actuals and provide functional specific reporting.
  • Take a leadership role to track and analyze business metrics; identify areas for improvement, inefficiencies and success, and create/execute solutions.
  • Identify and execute business transformation and optimization opportunities to include automation of core business processes. Active engagement in progressing the company's recent launch of Adaptive and support to the company's ERP replacement project with a targeted go-live of Q2'25.
  • Support company-wide restructure initiatives as part of the overall transition to SaaS including development and sustainment of the company's cloud COGS model.
  • Develop ad-hoc reports and analysis for cross-functional departments and management as requested. Support M&A activities.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant finance/FP&A experience.
  • Experience with a SaaS or subscription-based company with responsibility for the SaaS business models and related metrics, financial modeling, and financial reporting.Preferably to include transition to SaaS from other subscription/license models.
  • High level of organization, highly detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects to deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and with senior business leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced, and high-growth environment.
  • Highly personable, positive leader with the ability to forge relationships across the company.
  • Ability to develop and maintain financial models and accurate financial forecasts and present them in a clear and concise manner.
  • An expert in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

Other Preferred Attributes

  • Location = Austin, TX with an expectation of 2-3 days in the office.
    • Alternately, for the right candidate, will consider remote with an expectation of quarterly travel to Austin, TX.
