About this role:

The Communications Manager is part of the Communications team that supports Gartner's diverse organization across the globe. Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications for Global Product Management, the Communications Manager supports Gartner's fast-growing product organization. The Manager plays a critical role in enabling GPM associates to thrive by providing the information they need to achieve their goals and deliver on our business strategy. By partnering with key stakeholders across the organization, the Manager is responsible for creating and managing compelling communications initiatives and supporting programs that drive Associate engagement and retention.

This role is part of a dynamic team of communications professionals responsible for communicating Gartner's purpose and reinforcing its culture companywide with consistency and clarity. This role will inspire and enable GPM associates around the globe and work closely with the Communications Center of Excellence in India.

What you'll do:

  • Work with the Senior Director to develop, drive and execute a globally consistent communications strategy that supports GPM and Gartner's business priorities.

  • Create and manage communications plans to support targeted messaging to GPM associates and stakeholder teams on new products and product enhancements.

  • Produce a bi-monthly newsletter for all associates, managing and developing content and maintaining an editorial calendar.

  • Produce compelling communications (written, presentations, video and other) to:

  • Help associates understand and embrace Gartner's product strategy

  • Support partners and stakeholders awareness of product strategy, new products and product enhancements

  • Drive associate understanding, alignment, and participation with product strategy

  • Dive understanding of, and involvement with the company's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion activities championed by the GPM Inclusion Council

  • Produce quarterly GPM Town Hall and other events as needed.

  • Collaborate with HR Partners and GPM leadership to support communications for GPM awards and recognition programs.

  • Manage GPM's intranet presence, ensuring content is timely and remains current

  • Drive communications that consistently leverage Gartner best practices.

  • Proactively manage and assess the effectiveness of communications channels and initiatives using common data/dashboards and make recommendations to drive continuous improvement.

  • Manage the GPM Communications mailbox.

What you'll need:

  • 3-5 years internal/executive communications experience in a corporate environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • A service-oriented, collaborative mindset and intellectual curiosity.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; integrity, credibility, and confidence.

  • Ability to listen, absorb and process complex information from across a wide range of sources, programs, and initiatives into clear and compelling communications.

  • Eagerness to learn and comfortable taking initiative.

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills.

  • A proactive, strategic thinker with a track record of execution and creativity.

  • Experience with learning & development and/or sales communications preferred.

  • Outstanding interpersonal & influencing skills; integrity, credibility, and confidence.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, web content experience.

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 84,000 USD - 115,920 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
