Overview

TRC Earthworks is an environmental remediation construction firm seeking dedicated Construction Operators to join our team. You will be responsible for safely operating multiple types of construction equipment including but not limited to skidsteers, backhoes, trackhoes, front loaders, dozers, and off road haul equipment on large and/or complex projects to ensure construction activities are conducted in a safe manner subject to the client's needs. Responsibilities include performing tasks on time and within a specified scope and budget. The Construction Operator coordinates with the project supervisor, mentors project staff and communicates project objectives with technical experts required to complete the assigned projects. The equipment operators will need to be able to safely excavate around underground utilities.


Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain construction equipment and machines.
  • Assist technicians and other laborers when necessary.
  • Prep construction sites and develop a plan to complete the project.
  • Load or unload construction materials.
  • Implement HSE plans prior to commencing projects
  • Provide instruction and training to laborers

Complete, maintain, and submit paperwork required for projects.


Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks, as required.
  • Ability to work in all weather.
  • Workers must be punctual and reliable.
  • 2 years experience in a construction operator role in the oil and gas construction/remediation industry is preferred.
