Job Description
Summary: This is a paid Internship/Temporary position with training in Credit and Collections/Accounts Receivable. Max hours per week 42 on-site in the office. Responsible for providing financial, and administrative services in order to ensure efficient and accurate financial operation and compliance with established policies and procedures. There will be a paid training period before independent work begins with minimal supervision. 

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing payment application for cash receipts and handles credit balances.
  • Verify net term applications and verify trade references.
  • Responds to questions and emails/calls regarding overdue invoices and billing problems.
  • Prepares invoices for emailing or postage delivery to customers.
  • Performs data entry of manual invoices and credits.
  • Maintains and manages Accounts Receivable customer data.
  • Prepares daily eCommerce and Acer Service credit card settlement reports.
  • Maintains safe practice with Customer Credit Card information.
  • Review AR Accounts for open issues.
  • Work with Sales and Customer Service to resolve account issues.
  • Email statements and reminders to customers for past due status.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Measurements:
  • Reduction of outstanding receivable.
  • Increase in cash flow for assigned.
Qualifications:

Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organized and able to multi-task
Preferred (But Not Required):
  • Experience with Oracle ERP
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands for keyboarding and phone operation. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand and reach with arms. Ability to communicate with peers and supervisors via phone and in person. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.  

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in ambient room temperatures with lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
