Description

Salesforce Business Systems Analyst is responsible for using their knowledge of software programs and business strategies to help companies maximize productivity and communication. Their duties include talking with management and end-users to determine their needs, coordinating with IT and Deterrence Programs team to create or update software based on those needs, and training company employees on how to use the software effectively in their daily jobs. This role will serve as a systems integration analyst for all core Salesforce applications.

This is a remote, work from home position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily cloud system support and quality assurance, including Salesforce operational tasks (e.g., troubleshooting issues, running reports, managing data integrations)
  • Salesforce Specialist will use skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving to overcome organizational challenges while support business integration function
  • Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards to support leadership
  • Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge
  • Improve training and operational procedures within a business to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Work directly with internal clients to understand the individual needs of the business unit and oversee implementation of projects
  • Use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful insights and create/present report to management
  • Monitor and improve data quality, perform data imports, and provide ongoing data cleanup, auditing, and maintenance.
  • Support staff and leadership with ongoing automation and improvements of business processes.
  • Work in JIRA and set/meet weekly goals and objectives and perform business system analysis for all projects
  • Analyzes end-user issues and recommends fixes or improvements and maintain user/external group access policies for all assigned systems

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years' direct/relevant experience supporting a SaaS business model with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred in IT or related field.
  • Salesforce Admin or Developer Certifications
  • Strong understanding of overall financial operations and backoff systems/platforms and strong data management/analytics skills
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, prioritize, manage multiple projects and execute in a high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of enterprise applications preferred, including Salesforce, WordPress, and JIRA Service Desk.
  • Application/technology experience or similar related training. Solid knowledge of configurations of applications on the Salesforce platform.
  • Understanding of how software functions/systems are related to business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and convey thoughts clearly, logically, and concisely both orally and in writing, using appropriate grammar and command of the English language. Clear communication of technical issues to non-technical people.
  • Must have an exceptional internal and external customer service orientation.
  • A strong work ethic, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to think independently.
  • Ability to maintain workplace confidentiality and take ownership/accountability for own actions and aspects of the job.
