Reporting to the Director of Global Implementations, an Engagement Manager will be responsible for leading teams to deliver client-facing projects that span across one or more business units while overseeing its daily operations. Engagement Managers will be responsible for managing resources, schedules, financials, adhering to stage gate quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

The Engagement Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.

Currently, this position is in office 2 days per week.

What You Will Do:

  • The individual is expected to lead and drive the Implementation Life Cycle, including Project Kick-off, Business Requirement Gathering, User Acceptance Testing, and Project Hand-Off.
  • Drive project communications (internal and external) to maintain stakeholder engagement & project delivery.
  • Plan, schedule, & maintain project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Drive client workshops to understand requirements and/or present and validate potential solutions.
  • Review and analyze the client's business operations and processes to provide strategic guidance.
  • Document Business Requirements and Functional Solution Design of high quality with no ambiguity.
  • Initiate & Support Change Requests
  • Manage issues and risks.
  • Manage all assigned resources to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
  • Maintain project Health and Metrics in designated Project Management tool.
  • Consistently work to deliver an increased time to value with shorter implementation cycles.
  • Balance customer success (customer outcomes and satisfaction) against contracted financials
  • Drive internal Process Improvements
  • Maintain Internal Documentation

Why We Need You:

  • Overall 5+ years of experience (Min. 3+ yrs. relevant experience as Associate Project Manager / Project Manager) in a Software Delivery Services role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project streams simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities.
  • An attitude of teamwork, cooperation, doing what it takes to get the job done, soft skills, and passion for tech.
  • Experience working in collaborative teams of engineers, product managers, sales, and delivery partners.
  • Knowing how to read an audience, even over teleconference, to be able to adjust your message and communication style accordingly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts and technologies.
  • Self-motivated remote working/work from home for extended periods
  • Strong ability to control time management in projects.
  • Experience working with a globally based project team.
  • Use of PSA software such as Mavenlink, Clarizen, etc.
  • Familiar with tools such as SalesForce, Jira, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and MS Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Complimentary Skills:

  • PHP Coding Experience (light experience would be a major plus)
  • Strong understanding of the Punchh Platform
  • Strong understanding of Loyalty and Engagement platforms in the Restaurant and Convenience Store Industries
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with MS Project

The base salary range for this position is $81,000 - $120,000 USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments.

The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.
