Position Overview | The Director of Development for HSC's new College of Nursing as we begin to build out the organizational structure for Institutional Advancement to support a significant increase in overall fundraising for HSC. This position will oversee all development and alumni engagement activities for some of HSC's highest-potential constituencies. The Director of Development will also play an integral role on the Dean's leadership team advocating for external support for the college's priorities. After two years, the Director of Development should generate at least $1 million per year in new gifts and pledges. |

Coordinates and/or manages special alumni/donor activities and events for the College. Serves as the primary liaison between the College and Institutional Advancement. |

o | Prepares written development materials, including case statements, proposals, and fundraising initiative/campaign-related materials for assigned college, school, and/or program(s). Manages a pool of major gift donors with a goal of raising at least $1 million per year. |

o | Maintains timely contact reports, prospect plans, and solicitations within the data tracking system. Works effectively with stakeholders for proposal development by providing leads, research assistance, and proposal writing and submission assistance. |
