Job Description

Primary Purpose
Reporting to the Director of Organizational Development & Inclusion, leads a variety of organizational development programs in support of business strategies. In a senior capacity, provides professional guidance to all levels of management on the evaluation, planning and implementation of people and culture strategies and programs. Develops, facilitates and manages programs focused on organizational development, leadership development, career development, talent review and succession planning, employee engagement, recognition and belonging.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports the comprehensive talent review and succession planning process, prepares for and facilitates talent management meetings, monitors and customizes individual development plans and develops succession plans; manages system administration, including running reports and queries.
  • Develops, facilitates and manages new leadership and employee development training programs. Tailors existing programs to align with changes and to meet the audiences' needs.
  • Provides one-on-one career development support to SI employees. Provides guidance to management and non-management employees on training-related and development related issues.
  • Facilitates organizational, team and individual assessment process for clients, including interpretation, action planning and coaching.
  • Plays a key role in the assessment process of identifying high potential employees through system management, training and coaching.
  • Manages contractual process for outside vendors to ensure the delivery of key development programs, systems and resources.
  • Facilitates and participates in the coordination of special programs/events as needed.
  • Proactively researches and stays informed on new organizational development methods, techniques, vendors and research.
  • Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design, HR, Communications or other related field required. Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 5 years of experience working in an organizational development role required.
  • Experience in training, instructional design, facilitation, presentation and adult learning principles as well as partnering with Human Resources on various efforts required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to successfully facilitate training workshops in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to maintain long-term, big picture view and analyze complex issues to determine root causes and innovative solutions.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management on critical and sensitive issues. Must be able to inspire the trust of leaders at all levels.
  • Project planning skills and the ability to research, design and deliver training and development programs.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize interpersonal and group dynamics, performance and statistical data and industry trends.
  • Embraces and demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement and personal development as a role model for clients.
  • Strong consulting/facilitation skills and astute organizational/political awareness are essential.
  • Must be collaborative and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be action oriented and possess the ability to influence others and outcomes.
  • Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to, Teams, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified to facilitate leadership development programs i.e. Blanchard Situational Leadership II, Wiley Everything DiSC preferred.

Other Qualifications

  • Must be able to travel by air and facilitate training workshops primarily in Houston, San Diego, Mexico and other locations as required.
  • Fluently communicate in English and Spanish.

HYBRID: Work a combination of onsite and remote days each week, typically 2-3 days per week.
