Job Description

  • ICG Tech is seeking a Quality Analyst/Testing Tech Lead Analyst to join the CRMS Reporting Regulatory Remediation program team. The incumbent will be required to understand the current reporting landscape for CRMS across multiple global locations and provide end to end support to the team for application testing, development of testing plans, test strategies, test cases, test scenarios and end user assistance for the new platform that would be used to automate reports and process workflows This position will become the testing SME for data and reports and will act as test lead and liaison between the business and technical support teams. This is a hands-on role that will require understanding of the business and the various reporting requirements to aid the build team with testing and thus delivering quality end products to the users within established and strict time schedules. Candidate will work in partnership with the Product/Business Analysis teams and Engineering to accomplish the following:
  • Creating testing plans and test strategies - Identify the test scope and objective with focus for launch of new enterprise data product or dataset
  • Presenting test results in form as required by the PMO organization
  • Driving continuous improvements of testing methods and processes - Open-minded to new insights on how to perform testing in more reliable and efficient way
  • Researching solutions to address client needs - Able to research/learn independently and provide possible solutions

Position responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Work closely with product managers, and engineering team to ensure the highest quality and standard of testing is enforced and implemented prior to UAT rollout.
  • Create and maintain testing framework and several test artifacts as required by the PMO organization.
  • Create testing strategies and test plans- Identify the test scope, objective, test scenarios, test cases etc.
  • Research and propose alternative solutions to address client needs.
  • Identify risks and issues and raise appropriately to key stakeholders.
  • Be able to prioritize and ensure projects complete on time and work on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Steward towards data integrity: work with the Business Analysts and business to understand remediation of data quality issues as evaluated by self; escalate data integrity issues as required.
  • Provide UAT support and help resolve production support issues (as and when required)
  • Help with preparation of training and documenting of application and reporting process.



Required Qualifications

  • Have strong attention to details and dedication to efficiently work problems to resolution.'
  • Possess the ability to quickly learn new concepts and think outside the box.
  • 7-10 years of working experience as a QA
  • Relative bachelor degree.
  • Experience to handle large scale and complex datasets, understand data relationships, data transformations and data flows.
  • A high level of motivation and excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Financial services experience with a strong understanding of financial data specially in the Commercial Loans space.
  • Must have advanced MS Office skills-specially MS Excel. Should be able to model the reporting details and data structure using Excel as these would serve as testing and validation artifacts. Also, should be able to study excel and EUC based models of reports and reporting requirements and be able to craft a testing structure from thereon.
  • Strong data and application testing skills required.
  • Experience with application release management and maintenance of test plan.
  • Ability to learn new systems, and troubleshoot issues
  • Proficient in performing analysis of large data volume with limited direction. Exposure to SQL or other Query/Reporting languages is an asset
